Reading melch.ai collects no personal information. When you submit a question to the playground, the system forwards your prompt to the services that answer it while tracking only anonymous daily volume.

Reading the site
The site sets zero cookies, runs no tracking scripts, and loads all assets from melch.ai. Vercel hosts the application. Like any hosting provider, Vercel logs incoming requests and source IP addresses in temporary infrastructure logs that we do not inspect, process, or retain.
Asking the playground
Your question travels through the site’s server to a demo server running the selected team. The demo server maintains no database and logs only the first 120 characters of each prompt to short-lived runtime logs. Google Gemini executes inference over a paid API key, ensuring Google does not use prompts to train models and retains payloads only for temporary abuse review. Truth queries X, while Research queries Europe PMC, ClinicalTrials.gov, Crossref, and OpenAlex. The runtime returns completions directly to your browser without saving them.
What the site stores
To enforce limits of three queries per visitor and fifteen queries total each day, the server writes a counter to an Upstash key-value store against a salted one-way hash of the visitor’s IP address. Upstash drops these counters after two days and never receives the raw address. The site retains no accounts, prompt transcripts, model outputs, or personal profiles.
Third-party services
Vercel hosts the web application and its API route, Upstash tracks daily query counts, and Google Gemini handles model inference. Specialized search tools dispatch queries outward: X supplies results for Truth, and Europe PMC, ClinicalTrials.gov, Crossref, and OpenAlex supply records for Research. Each provider handles incoming data according to its own published terms.

Language models write playground responses and make errors; check important claims against the cited sources. Research reports published evidence and does not offer medical advice. Treatment choices belong to you and your clinician. Never submit personal, clinical, or confidential details in a question. We operate this playground as an interactive demonstration, and we reserve the right to alter usage quotas or suspend the service at any time.
